THE QE2 BRIDGE

Officially known as the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, is a major river crossing located in England. It spans the River Thames and connects Dartford and Thurrock, serving as a vital link between the M25 motorway on both sides. The bridge was opened for traffic in 1991 by Queen Elizabeth II herself, replacing the congested Dartford Tunnel.
It is a cable-stayed bridge, featuring two main towers and a total length of 2,872 meters. The QE2 Bridge significantly improved transportation efficiency and has become an iconic landmark in the region.
